Something for the summer

Stuck in doors and thinking of heading out for a walk well why not check out some Geo Caching huh I here you cry this is'nt a computer game. Pop on over to geochaching.com and have quick peek its free to sign-up and its also worldwide just pop in your area details on front page and check some local caching sites near by you.

The basics are, you jot down the GPS cords from the web site of the cache you want to try and find there are millions to find. Once you find it (some times they have been found and removed) there might be a log book inside to write a note and even sometimes there are swapable items like batteries and even travel bugs which you can take and place in another cache later on. Its a big kids treasure hunt (though kids love it to!!) with out the treasure but still very rewarding past time and pretty good fun and it will take you to some spots that you would nt have thought of heading out to.
